Children's Museum

My sister and I took the kids to the Children's Museum im Youngstown and I just wanted to post some pictures....Ethan had a blast!

Diapers

Ok, so I did the old school cloth diapers with Ethan until I got pregnant with Eli and couldn't take the smell, plus the pins and rubber pants were just yucky. I never used any of the nice new diapers because I had a grudge against having to buy all different sizes.

Once a Month Cooking

Over the last month or two I've been talking to different women about meals and such and all the craziness surrounding dinner time. It always seems impossible to get a good dinner done and on the table by 5 with two kids who always get super grumpy right when I try to start cooking.

Well I have found the solution! For one day of craziness I get a whole months worth of pretty stress-free dinners. It's called once a month cooking and there are quite a few books out on it but I recommend:

Yesterday our friends Mike and Thesesa brought their daughter Kaelyn over and we had a wonderful night! Ate some pizza and dusted off the strollers from the winter and walked down to the DQ and got some ice cream. It was so nice to spend some time with friends and watch Ethan have such a good time with his "girlfriend". Being able to fellowship with other Christian women has really helped me grow deeper in my walk with Christ. Plus it is nice to finally have some other friends who are mama's and wives, people to relate to.

The daylight savings time hasn't messed up the kids too bad. I was really worried it was going to be hard to get Ethan down for bed tonight, but he went to sleep no problem! Now I just have to try and get Eli to sleep. Wish me luck :)

Rain

Good thing I got myself in gear yesterday and took the kids down to the park! It is raining like crazy today. Eli slept in the stroller and my mom and I played with ethan for almost 2 hours. He seems really big to me now because the last time I took him to the park I had to help him do everything, and yesterday he was so independent! It was a wonderful day :)

Are we not blessed? His love endures forever, no matter what. I flipped to this verse today and it lifted my soul.

With the warmer weather and spring around the corner I cannot wait to take the kids outside. I feel so much closer to the Lord when I can be in his Creation!
